Our Graphic Designs Process

Clouse Designs is a full-service digital marketing agency. We take a structured approach to our design process. From a simple logo design to a large-scale branding project we have you covered. We Work to Understand industry goals and audience to create designs that are well crafted and meet your goals.

Briefing the Project

During this process, we will discuss your project’s Vision, Mission, and Goals in detail to get a full understanding of what you are looking for in your finished design. Once we have a good understanding of what you are looking for, we will do some research on your market, competitors, point of differentiation (POD), audience, trends, and future prospects. The purpose of this research is to give us a 360° view of your business and your potential customers.

Brainstorming the Message

The brainstorming process will allow us to explore how all the different elements or your design can work together to support the message. We will generate a list of ideas that can be used in the next step, the sketching phase.

Sketching out Mockups

At this step, we will start by drawing out rough sketches of the ideas we discussed after our brainstorming creative session. These sketches are just a rough visual of the layout and elements that represent the overall design and show the hierarchy of the composition to achieve proper messaging.

This allows the client the opportunity to see if we are going in the right direction and make corrections before we commit to a design plan. We generally try to stick to 3 different variations and can combine components of each design to come up with the one that works best for the project.

Building the Design

Now it’s time to get cranking with your designs! This is where the meat and potatoes of graphic work come into play, so it’s time for us to have fun. Once we flush out a few ideas and create a few drafts, it’s time to get some feedback.

Our design team will come up with 3 final drafts for you to look at and offer any feedback you may have so that we can make any tweaks to the typography or colors during the design process.

Presenting and Refining the Work
